Tangente Jour in Tubingen

Very nice location, especially in summer it's great to sit outside and watch the goings on in the city. The food tastes great and the owners are amazing ❤. Hope to see you again soon!

For me personally one of the best cafes and café bars in town. The owner and all her employees are good-hearted, super nice and friendly people. With the coffee specialties you can taste that they come from a high quality machine. New non-alcoholic drinks are always offered on the menu, e.g. a quince spritzer. The food is delicious and always prepared with fresh ingredients. Depending on the season, fresh, home-made teas are also offered. The alcoholic drinks on the menu are classics, but made in-house and without any ready-made syrups. The location of the tangent with its extensive outdoor area is a dream, especially on warm summer nights. All in all, the Tangente Jour is really only recommendable.

Great location right in the old town of Tübingen. In the mornings, they have a delicious breakfast here at a fair price. I like to come here.

Little food for a lot of money and it didn't taste particularly good either. The only good thing was the coffee. I wouldn't recommend having breakfast there.

Lovely bar, super friendly and amazing cocktails and cake. The waiters were wearing a mask, every table was being desinfected and i had the impression they where taking the current situation very seriously.

We sat right at the church, cake and coffee were just great! Only one waitress outside, but she was very nice and had everything under control

Very friendly and eager waitress, nice location and good coffee. Unfortunately we were very disappointed with the breakfast today. The rolls were small baked rolls and our wish to exchange cheese for sausage was unfortunately not fulfilled. The first half of breakfast came after half an hour. We asked twice for the rest of the breakfast and after 20 minutes nothing came. Then we went. Pity!

So far, only positive experiences. Especially the brown-haired waitress with the curls and glasses (Leonie?) Is always super warm and eager. Recommendation!

A meeting spot in Tuebingen! Always quiet, cozy and peaceful. Not a student place, but in fact, with its own charm.

Although I was not there for a long time, but the breakfast was really always good and varied. Actually, sitting is also doing quite well. I think it's best if you can sit right outside the door, in the square in front of the church and enjoy the view. That's great, of course. As for the flow of the staff, I remember that always something was out of focus, otherwise good.

Nice tidy cafe

Very nice Cafe, near to the church. So friendly people 🙂 and above all very nice food. The veg sandwich was absolutely yummy😋 and the same with the chai Latte. Enjoyed the time with my family there👍.

We ate here spontaneously in the morning at 9:15 am for breakfast. The order came quickly, the staff was very friendly and the breakfast was delicious and great prepared (see photo). The for 8.50 € we find especially very fair. The fruits were fresh, the rolls very delicious and also fresh and the jam was also very good (nothing from the supermarket). The egg was too soft cooked (we had not specified it when ordering) and it was cooked again afterwards. We can absolutely recommend the breakfast here.

Very nice bistro right next to the collegiate church. The bagel was delicious and great. Although the place was really not very busy, I had to wait quite a long time.

Great location especially in the summer when you can sit just outside on top of the Tübingen stairs underneath the church. The personnel are normally too busy to be nice and I once ate a quiche that was thawed, warmed up but still served cold in the center. When I mentioned it to the waitress, she responded with an unapologetic 'sorry'. I would recommend as a place to grab a coffee in the summer but otherwise not to be recommended.
